Alby’s Pasta and Play!

Over the lockdown, I have been doing many things. Like every weekday,
I have been jumping (quite high) on my trampoline and getting static
electric shocks!

I have also been cooking some lemony pasta, and here’s the recipe:

( For 2 people)
Cooking
•       Boil two and ½ cups of fusilli pasta for about 12 minutes.
•       Next, get about ½ a packet of bacon, put it on a tray, and cook it for about 10 minutes.
•       Pick some lettuce, and wash it in some cold water.
•       Then dry the lettuce. (A salad spinner is best).
•       Get some carrots and grate or cut them, the choice is yours.
•       Also grate some cheese; this will be used later.

Serving
•       First, pour the pasta into a colander over a sink. Then, using a slotted spoon, scoop it onto the plates.
•       Put the grated carrot into a pile by the side of each plate.
•       After that, divide the lettuce equally between the plates.
•       Give each person 4 slices of bacon (my packets have 16 slices) and chop it up into pieces.
•       Then, sprinkle the cheese on top of each plate, melting it all over.
•       Finally, sprinkle some lemon (or lime) juice on top.
•       That is how you make lemony pasta.

At the weekends, I have been going on lots of walks at my Dad’s house
with my sister Betty.

Marvellous Meatballs and More…!

Last week, I set my class the challenge of making some meatballs and singing a song about meatballs.

Here are my meatballs! They were delicious!

For the last few weeks I have been enjoying reading Northern Lights! It’s a great book and really exciting!
