While most of Year 5 were out at London, everyone back at Witheridge was creating cam toys of Anne Boleyn. For one group, it was very tricky and funny. We first had to make the cardboard box for a frame. Then we had to stick another box inside it. That group I said about was Kathleen, Harry and Sophia. They ended up sticking the box the wrong way round. That made it a lot more tricky for them. The next day it was time for adding the cams and dowel. That group again was able to snap their dowel trying to put a tough cam on. The group burst into laughter and the other groups turned around and had a little giggle. People were using saws to cut the dowel. We all got the measurements correct, I think. Some people were having trouble with putting in the snail cam so it was exchanged for an egg cam. The next day was really fun. It was the decorating day. One group had a huge blue sword with googly eyes. It had little pompoms on the inside and out. This was by Rowan, Cruize and Reggie. The next one had a pink border with one green, blue and gold handle. The other had a pink handle. This was by Gladys, Jake and Lily. One group had a blue border with some blue feathers. They had a gold ribbon in the middle of the dowel. This was by Kathleen, Harry and Sophia. The last one had a silver ribbon on it. The executioner would jump up and down to try and kill Anne Boleyn. This masterpiece was by Felicity and Maddie.
