Cameron’s Thoughts

It’s our last week as Year 6s in Witheridge Primary School. This week, we have been finishing off our projects and getting ready for Chulmleigh. On our last day, we are going to have a Leavers’ Zoom Service in the morning, and at lunch time we’ll have a picnic outside. In the afternoon, we are going to have a water fight. Mrs Nott said the best water pistol is the lemonade bottle, made by poking holes in the lid with a fork. I’m really looking forward to soaking all the teachers, especially Mrs Waters, because it’s her last day, too.

For the last two weeks, we’ve been wearing our Leavers’ Hoodies. They’re great because they keep us warm and they’re fluffy inside. On the back they have a cool splodge design which is like a splattered egg, with all of our names in the 2020 numbers. My name is at the top. This year, for the first time, we chose the colour purple.

Goodbye, Witheridge. I’ll come back and visit when I can.

Take care, everybody and keep on working hard.

from your Head Boy,

Cameron.

ps Tomorrow on our Zoom chat, we’re going to find out who the next Head Girl and Head Boy will be. I can’t wait to know who it is!

A new bubble!

This week in Witheridge has been even more different than usual. We have introduced a new Bubble in class 3 because of the amount of people coming back to school. Even though we can’t see them that much, we can still hear them. Because of the new bubble coming, we have had to change our break time (but at least we still have it). We have also had to wash our hands so many times like usual. Poor Mr Wiggans has had to keep cleaning the toilet every time someone goes. Another thing is, all classes have been doing morning Zumba or Joe Wicks. All the different bubbles have their own play equipment to play with at play time. We also have to put our coats and bags on separate pegs.

I hope that you are safe and well. Stay tuned for the next blog post!
