Daisy-May’s super slime recipe!

Daisy May kindly showed Class 4 the slime she has been making at home on our Zoom chat. If you would like to make your own batch, here’s her (not so secret) recipe!

Have fun!

You will need:

  • A bowl
  • A mixing tool
  • Glue; Elmer’s is my personal favourite
  • Activator; again Elmer’s is the best
  • Food dye
  • Essential oil
  • Containers
  • Glitter

Recipe:

  1. Pour glue into your bowl
  2. Add colour (if you want)
  3. Add scent (optional)
  4. Add glitter (maybe)
  5. Mix
  6. Slowly add in activator
  7. Mix
  8. Kneed it
  9. Put into containers when finished

That’s how you make Daisy-May’s super slime!

Have fun everyone! 🙂

Courtney’s Gardening

Here are a few pictures of things I’m growing in my garden. There is celery, lettuce, cucumber, courgette, tomatoes, beans in a bag with sticks, horseradish, garlic and shallots and my blueberry bush is nearly as tall as me!

Finley’s Shrinking Crisp Packets

In the Easter holidays my mum told us about an experiment you can do with a crisp packet. You put it in the oven and it shrinks! (Do not put it in the microwave because it might catch on fire).
We saved a few crisp packets, washed them out and waited for them to dry. Then we put them on a baking tray and into the oven on 160°C and watched them shrink!  I thought that they looked really cool.

Zak’s Easter Activities

My horse 🐴 George, with my hat. He has loved me being home so we can go on adventures together.
Oh my brother had to tag along sometimes on his pony Peanut.
We have to make sure we feed them and brush them every day to look after them.
I dived in my pond after we had spent all day weeding it.
I have been planting lots of seeds to grow vegetables in my mum’s poly tunnel.
I built my paddling pool for Max and me to play in over Easter.
I helped Max make a spring stick (unfortunately my mum took a while to photo them and they wilted in the sun).
I have loved the weather over Easter as I could play outside
See you all soon

Home Learning

Hi everyone! Since our last blog post, such a lot has changed. Hopefully, you’ve all made a great start on your Home Learning and had some time to enjoy the Easter Holidays, too. Once the Summer Term begins for you at home, we are hoping that you will be able to continue to update the blog as part of your Home Learning. Our blog has been started fantastically by our Digital Leaders. However, we would now like to welcome any school member to become a blog author. If you are interested in writing a blog post for the school, please do get in touch with Mrs Nott at the Class 4 school email address. We would love to hear from you! Take care, and stay safe, Mrs Nott.
