Last week was Mental Health Week. We had an hour-long lesson on it in PSHE. We learnt about all the things that we should do to increase and help our mind and how we feel. We learnt that the main three things are Move, Sleep, and Eat.(If you do not know what PSHE stands for it stands for Personal, Social, Health, Education.) We all made posters about Move, Sleep and Eat.We all did a different poster and now they are all around the classroom and the school. On Friday we got to were yellow for Mental Health. Daily mile :)
At the daily mile ks2 and ks1 go at seperate ks1 go out at half past ten and then ks2 come out at quarter to eleven. On a Friday after break we go to Celebration Assembly but on other days we go to Collective Worship in the afternoon after lunch. When we do the daily mile, we run around the school and playground and on a sunny day we run around the football pitch. It is a good idea because it helps us keep fit and healthy and it helps our mental health.

girls football club
Girls football is a fun after school club. It gives girls to improve their skills when boys aren’t around. It gives the girls team a chance to practise with their team mates. The one who runs it, Mr Manning, is the captain of Witheridge football team, so it comes from the best. Our football team is the best in Witheridge school. We have won every match we have played or come in a draw. And the more practise we get in, the better!
